![]() ![]() Rain and I met in 2019 at the Sundance Film Festival, which seems like a decade ago now. She's smart, she's talented, she's gorgeous. Today, I’m extremely honored to have a little chat with a woman who wows me. Hello, my lovely listener, it's me, your auntie Fiona. Welcome to Now with Fiona, the podcast where we explore rather direct questions about the LGBTQ+ community that many people are just too afraid to ask. Rain also founded ActNOW, the first acting class based in Los Angeles for LGBTQ+ actors of all skill levels. Other awards she has won are a GLAAD award and the 2021 Trailblazer award from Outfest. She has starred in several shows, including Lopez, Transparent, and Sneaky Pete, and she received a Primetime Emmy nomination for her role in Razor Tongue. Rain Valdez, an out and proud transgender woman, is an actress, writer, director, and acting teacher.
